Spore Creatures DS is an adventure game where you can create your own creature and then go interact with other creatures like yourself. Animating this ad was a lot of fun. My role was to place finishing touches to all animations and build the user interaction (how the user interacts with the stylus in the ad).
‘Beer. Grown up.’ Miller’s tag line in this campaign led us to portray moving up in life. From putting into a college party beer cup to making it happen on the green, all grown up! Animating reality was my goal here. Miller was very happy with the finished product.
The Lexus LS 460 is a highly customizable vehicle. This ad allows the user to customize a shape with their arrow keys that ends up revealing the car in the end. I was in charge of all of the animation and coding for this project.
EA requested an accolades ad. The idea was to have the accolades appear as you fly through space. At the end of the ad the user can explore space to reveal screenshots from the game. I did all of the animation for this.
EA approached us for an ad for their new game NHL Arcade. I used a hockey check to grab peoples attention and reveal the initial copy and from there added screenshots of game play. I did all of the animation for this ad.
Included here are three print examples.
First is an invite I designed for a friend’s joined art show.
Next is a spread I designed for the Ripsaw Newspaper.
Lastly is a spread I assisted in designing with Robert Appleton for a book of his design work.
Fisher-Price created a new easy to clean highchair under the line Baby Gear. My team created an ad that showed just how easy this is to clean up. I animated this entire ad and was also part of the design team.
A couple friends of mine created 30music.com. I decided to make a magazine with their best interviews, album reviews, and track reviews. All I had was copy to work with, so most of the visuals are original content designed by myself. Layout, design, printing, and binding… all me! They have unfortunately pulled the site down, but I’m happy I was able to create this memento.
